Whether you are coming to Altus for a quick upgrade or here for a longer initial qualification in the C-17, KC-135 or KC-46, The Summit Crash Pad is here to enhance your experience. Our fully remodeled house features four bedrooms and three bathrooms with tons of amenities that will make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything you need to be comfortable while you are TDY is provided, allowing you to focus on successfully completing your course. The best part? It’ll cost nothing out of pocket!
Amenities
THE ACCOMMODATIONS
Get a good night’s rest with rooms designed for the aviator in mind, featuring pillow top mattresses, premium microfiber sheets, luxuriously soft towels and quality pillows. Our rooms also feature 32” Roku-enabled TV’s, desks with office chairs, and blackout curtains for maximum darkness when you need it. We are also happy to adjust the rooms or purchase items that you find necessary for study. Our rooms are also named after some of the most recognizable peaks in the United States.
The Kitchen
Recently renovated, the kitchen in our house features premium LG appliances, a gas stove, soft-close cabinets, and plenty of storage space. Our kitchen offers an extra large refrigerator along with a drinks fridge for ample space. We provide all necessary kitchen utensils and cooking ware, as well as a a keurig with pods provided.
The living room
A 55” LG 4K HDR Roku TV with a 2.1 soundbar is the centerpiece, but the recliner couches are where you’ll want to put your feet up after a long sortie. We also provide an Xbox One (with 100+ games and Xbox Live) for those gaming and Blu-Ray needs. Hulu with Live TV (No Ads), ESPN+, NFL Red Zone, and Disney+ are all provided, and if you desire a different streaming service just ask!
The Jacuzzi
Let’s face it, Altus gets cold during the winter, and sometimes you just need to soak after breathing in jet exhaust all day. We remedied that by having a spa available for your use, whenever you need it. Our six person, 29 jet hot tub spa was purchased brand new in 2019 and is maintained weekly by a professional cleaning service.
